Volunteers are the main support of the operation of Earthdance, working in a variety of assigned tasks including housekeeping, office assistance, cooking, grounds maintenance, and workshop and festival support. In exchange, support staff receive:
- Complimentary room (shared) and board,
- Use of dance studios and other Earthdance facilities (when not in use by the rental groups), and
- Free participation in community events (jams, performance nights, etc).
Support staff work for 4 hours a day and can come for a few days to a few weeks at a time, depending on the needs of Earthdance. With large projects, large rental groups, and staff vacations, Earthdance often has a need for extra hands. Support staff is determined by skill level, availability, and interest.
If you would like to join our Support Staff listserve, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, with a brief description of your area of interests.
