Over the past few years in the process of updating and improving our facilities, Earthdance has taken on a large amount of debt. We are hoping to reduce our debt significantly over the next several years. We are also hoping to continue making improvements to our facilities.
By supporting Earthdance's Facilities Campaign, you assist Earthdance's mission by
Saving us a great deal in interest payments over the life of our loans
Allowing us to make necessary improvements to our physical facility
Accomplishing items 1 & 2 will also allow us to focus more of our energies upon artistic, community, and environmental projects, such as: 1) Our Artist Residence Program – cultivating artistic research through collaborative and individual projects; 2) SEEDS Festival (Somatic Experiments in Earth, Dance + Science) – a 3 week interdisciplinary summer event gathering artists, scientists, architects, and community activists to creatively research ecology and experiential arts; 3) The Harriet Tubman Healthy Living Conference – a multigenerational, cross-cultural conference collaborating with local community organizations to develop leadership, health, and community-building skills. .
