Greetings everyone and hope your journey into 2022 has had moments of joy and kindness,

First, THANK YOU for your support during the Earthdance End of the Year Fundraising campaign. We have been very touched by your generosity and the support the community has offered us during this challenging time for everyone.

We look forward to seeing you at the Virtual Town Hall event with new Executive Director, Daniel Hayes, on Sunday, January 23, 2022 - 4:30 pm ET. For more information, please see below. 

We will start the month of February with a Collaborative Community (CoCo) Jam event, February 3 - February 6, 2022. We hope this event will bring us safely together again in community and on the dance floor. 

We are also thrilled to share with you that we are in the process of crafting a new programming format that hopes to harness the community spirit during these cold winter months and bring new life to Earthdance after almost two years of hibernation. We are calling this an Earthdance Open House and we will move directly from the CoCo Jam into this Open House week. Stay tuned to our website for more details!

As we continue into March, we are happy to share that we will be having our annual Spring Equinox Jam on March 17 - 20, 2022. For more information, please see below. 

Finally, we will be accepting a few applications for volunteers to live/work on site. If you are interested, please see below.

Virtual Town Hall 

January 23, 2022 - 4:30pm ET

Collaborative Community (CoCo) Jam 

February 3, 2022 to February 6, 2022 

We have created a new format to meet the strong desire to gather, meet, and dance. The structure and facilitation of the event will be more informal and co-created by you, the participants, along with your hosts, Katerina Saligari and Levi Gershkowitz. 

We are wanting to meet with as Covid safe a container as we can create together. For this we will still be limiting the size of the event to 40 participants plus staff and maintain our Covid requirements and invitations along with the closed container nature of the event.

This Jam will be open to both vaccinated and unvaccinated attendees, who must all follow the testing and other Covid protocols.

Spring Equinox Jam

March 17, 2022 to March 20, 2022 

Earthdance’s annual Spring Equinox Jam is centered around research and renewal. As winter melts and gives way to spring, a cozy, curious, quiet atmosphere opens up for engaging in Contact Improvisation (CI) dancing and investigation.

The Spring Jam is typically 25 – 40 people, and is particularly geared toward anyone looking to explore Contact Improv for the first time or explore new layers of movement exploration in CI. Through focused dancing, light conversation, and creative exchange, the Spring Equinox Jam offers many opportunities for awakening and beginning.

Thanks to your generous and important support, we were able to reach $26,500 through the Earthdance End of the Year Fundraising.

We are hopeful that the pandemic will allow us to welcome you all soon and we are excited about the diverse activities we are currently planning for the year ahead of us!

We look forward to welcoming you back to this place you may experience as home, community, where you fell in love, found your true dance, or watched the morning sun move across the floor.
